The core business of UBAF is International Trade Financing, with a focus on financial and physical flows from and to the Arab world.

Two business lines stand out: one related to all forms of documentary activity, the other regarding the issuance of guarantees for transactions signed with countries in the areas in which UBAF is active.

Operating through a network of branches and representative offices – mainly in Asia and the Middle East – UBAF has directly met its clients’ needs for security and financing through its network of correspondent banks. Corporate and bank financing round out these two core businesses.

In addition, to strengthen our banking services, we have turned two activities into full-fledged business lines, namely Trade Commodity Finance and Forfaiting.
