UBAF Presentation
UBAF is a French consortial bank created in 1970 by public banks in France and 25 Arab countries.
For more than 50 years, UBAF’s mission has been to support and secure the international trade flows of its clients in the field of trade finance and international trading. Crédit Agricole CIB (CA-CIB), its main shareholder holds 47.01% of the capital and acts as a reference vis-à-vis the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR).
Participation in a RCF of the Gunvor Group
As part of its trade finance activities, UBAF renewed its participation in the Gunvor Group's RCF. This RCF was oversubscribed by the banks with a final amount of $1.69 billion. This type of financing provides the Group with a liquidity cushion for managing its price risk.
